Art City is looking for creative individuals who live in Winnipeg’s inner-city neighbourhoods to conduct workshops at its community studio.
Founded by Winnipeg artist Wanda Koop, Art City is a drop-in studio that provides high quality, free-of-charge art programming to inner-city residents.
Submissions are for:
Programming For All Ages: Monday to Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.. Workshop proposals should be geared to children and youth ranging from 6 to 15 years of age, though still be suitable for all ages.
Proposals can be for 1, 2, or 3-day workshops.
Artists will receive a $25/hour artist fee.
All submissions must include the following:
- Contact information.
- Resume, if available.
- Title and short description of the workshop.
- Supply list.
Submission Deadline: Ongoing
Please send proposals to Art City, 616 Broadway, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 0W8, or deliver to Art City between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
Selected artists will be asked to provide a Criminal Reference Check and Child Abuse Registry Check that will be paid for by Art City.
